Half-truths can sometimes be worse than lies. Such is the case with the Texas blackouts. Wind advocated were quick to point fingers at frozen pipes associated with natural gas and coal facilities. This did happen, but it’s also true natural gas and coal increased power. It’s also true none of this would have happened if the state hadn’t made the grid unreliable by dramatically increasing wind production. See Top 8 Reasons for blackout problems and thing about climate change, except the price tag is much, much higher and the “problem” is exponentially more difficult to understand. It’s your money.
